Hope Architects & Builders provide guidance, design, project management, land development, and fine construction

for people who cherish a connection to land and place as grounds for personal and spiritual tansformation.

As designers, builders, and land stewards, we strive to guide and manage the entire process;

from clarifying the vision to implementing the final touches into the home of our clients' dreams.

We are also available to help with additional touches like designing and building furniture, sculptures, and gardens.

Our Philosophy

We work with a simple maxim: Land and place are a sanctuary, and a connection to these provide a holding for the human soul in its journey towards finding its true place in nature, and the family of all things.

We treat the land and the landscape with utmost respect, and are guided by the aspiration to sculpt it in attunement and in partnership with nature.

We treat all beings with the respect and reverence we have for all creation; the bear and the mountain lions, the ground hogs and the rattle snakes, clients and contractors alike.

Our Mission

As a master-builder company, we strive to form a mutual vision with those who choose to work with us. We are oriented towards helping our clients discover and carve out the right place for them in nature and in the world. Ari Hope

"I became an architect because I thought I could change the world by changing the shape of it."

Ari Hope, the mastermind behind Hope Architects, has over 30 years of experience in the architectural industry building custom homes. He has an intimate understanding of the entire building process, from meticulous housing design, to skilled construction management, to a fine attention to details. He has a knack for envisioning the potential of a building while preserving the history and the integrity of the land and the structures.
