A House with History

The Peninsula House

This beautiful modern home had humble origins as a dairy barn in the 1920's that was converted to a residential building in the 1960s.

Hope Architects were faced with the challenge to create a functional modern home while leaving the majority of the original structure intact.

Witness the transformation below.

Creating Functional Spaces

The original layout of this building seemed rather flat and didn't offer much in the way of outdoor living spaces. Hope Architects used porches, balconies and dormers to keep the original envelope structure while providing depth so homeowners could have access to aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable outdoor spaces.
